Landscaper Required for Childcare Centre Sites

We are seeking an experienced Landscaper with a broad range of hard and soft landscapes experience to join our team.

This is a full-time position responsible for all landscaping and playground installation on the childcare centre sites we work with.

The role includes layout of the site from plans, updating of plans and the installation or renovation of all landscaping and playground elements.

Previous experience delivering a wide range of landscaping elements will be essential to deliver high-quality installations. You will be skilled in reading and using plans to establish required materials for each job and installing landscaping to plan specifications.

Common tasks include concreting, tiling, paving, planting, turf installation (both synthetic and real), irrigation installation, drainage, shade sail preparation for installation, garden beds, ground prep and wet pour rubber installation.

Some specialist skills such as wet pour rubber can be provided training in.

The role is very hands-on and will require you to be motivated, fit and enthusiastic to work in a close team.

You will be required at times to travel within Queensland to complete jobs based at childcare centres outside of the Gold Coast and Brisbane local area.

You will be compensated for travel away from home, and all travel and accommodation costs are paid for.

  • Ability to work within a childcare centre and represent the company in a professional and appropriate manner

  • A strong commitment to safe work practices
  • Current driver's license - manual preferred
  • Relevant landscaping qualifications of a minimum Cert III level and at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a landscaping role
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
  • 2 recent contactable referees
