Senior Hydraulic Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to deliver high-quality design solutions for our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for autonomously generating design solutions, leading medium to large-scale projects and serving as a technical authority to senior staff on intricate assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To generate high-quality design solutions for clients, applying advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • To lead and manage medium to large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • To provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • To conduct thorough research and validation of design solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
  • To develop and implement comprehensive tests to verify the effectiveness of design solutions.
  • To oversee the delivery of design solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Building Services or Civil engineering).
  • At least 10 years' experience in a consulting environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Extensive expertise in engineering principles and practices, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
