About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, reviews, and retrospectives. This role will involve guiding team discussions, workshops, and decision-making processes while addressing and removing any blockers that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and education to the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices, helping the team achieve high performance, continuous improvement, and increased Agile maturity.
  • Foster a shared understanding of solutions across feature teams, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure all team dependencies are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Keep the team focused on key program priorities, milestones, release schedules, and the overall program roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and track the impact on team burndown and velocity, providing visibility for informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and roadmap management of a portfolio of work, delivering regular program updates, including risks, issues, and escalations, on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through clear communication, effective negotiation, and proactive issue resolution, ensuring stakeholders remain engaged and project deliverables are met.
About You

A successful candidate should have proven leadership skills in the public sector, strong knowledge in the field of technology, ability to manage a large team effectively, excellent communication and coordination skills, ability to handle budget and resources of the department, understanding of public sector regulations, and ability to handle conflicts and issues effectively.
