We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. As a key member of our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, you will play a vital role in providing drought and remote wellness services to regional patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive counselling and support services to individuals and communities affected by drought and remote living.
- Develop and implement education and engagement programs to build community capacity and promote mental health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide integrated care and support services.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address the mental health needs of clients.
- Provide training and education to healthcare professionals and community members on mental health and wellbeing topics.
- Registration with AHPRA or membership of the AASW.
- Qualification in Psychology, Social Work (Accredited with AASW), Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing (Suitable for Mental Health credentialing).
- Post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical field.
- Demonstrated experience in brief interventions, and therapeutic counselling with patients across the lifespan.
- Demonstrated experience and respectful understanding of cultural diversity including traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander views of health and wellness.
- Working with Children- Blue Card (Social Workers Only).
- Attractive remuneration up to 116K (depending on seniority) + Super.
- Salary packaging of $18,500 increasing your take-home pay.
- Weekly rent/mortgage assistance of $385.
