Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Identity Services: Develop and implement on-premises and cloud-based identity services, with a focus on Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Migrate Identity Services to Cloud: Lead the migration process from on-premises identity services to Entra ID, establishing it as the primary authentication and authorization Identity Provider (IdP).
  • Secure Cloud Identity Technologies: Secure cloud identity technologies to a PROTECTED level, ensuring compliance with government standards.
  • Implement Cloud Identity Solutions: Implement Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Azure AD B2C, or Entra External ID, and manage Intune device policies.
  • Design Conditional Access Policies: Design and enforce Azure AD/Entra Conditional Access Policies.
  • Provide Engineering Leadership: Provide engineering leadership and guidance within identity technology domains, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Manage ICT Systems and Environments: Utilize strong coordination and organizational skills to manage tasks across a broad range of ICT systems and environments, including cloud platforms, authentication technologies, DNS, and MFA.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, producing high-quality documentation and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
Essential Criteria
  • Experience in Identity Services: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing both on-premises and 'as a service' identity capabilities, specifically with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Migration Experience: Proven expertise in designing and executing a migration strategy from on-premises identity services to Entra ID.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Experience in securing cloud identity solutions to a PROTECTED level.
  • Cloud Identity Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Azure AD B2C, or Entra External ID, and experience with Intune device management.
  • Conditional Access Experience: Strong experience in designing and implementing Azure AD/Entra Conditional Access Policies.
  • Broad ICT Knowledge: Broad ICT knowledge, including cloud platforms, authentication technologies, DNS, MFA, etc.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop Experience: Experience in designing and implementing Windows 365 and/or Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • DevOps Methodologies: Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, particularly Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Agile Frameworks: Experience working within Agile frameworks, such as Scrum.
  • Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with tools and technologies such as M365DSC, GraphAPI, MSOL, and AzureAD PowerShell.
