Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual with a genuine interest in a career in the automotive industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting the Service Manager and being responsible for providing top-notch workmanship on all vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Service Manager when required
  • Answer phone calls and deal with customers
  • Use our booking system for customer cars
  • Responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of used and new vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on vehicles
  • Provide exceptional workmanship on all vehicles
  • Maintain knowledge of brand products and tooling through our suppliers
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all products and services offered
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment
  • Complete paperwork with details of works carried out
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Fully qualified 3+ years' experience in the trade
  • A sound knowledge of the automotive industry
  • High standards in customer service and customer care
  • Capacity to problem-solve issues and find suitable resolutions
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to strive for goals
  • RWC and A/C licence would be advantageous but not essential
  • Current full drivers' licence
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Available to work Monday-Friday plus some Saturday mornings
