Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced trackwork rider to join our stables on a full time or casual basis.

The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, reliability and punctuality, experience riding horses within a racing stable including timed gallops, good horse handling skills, and the ability to ride and educate young horses.

Our track riders enjoy the opportunity to ride a mixture of established racehorses competing at the highest levels of Australian racing, as well as educating a crop of talented young horses learning their craft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ride and care for horses in a racing stable environment
  • Participate in timed gallops and other training exercises
  • Educate young horses and develop their racing potential
  • Maintain a high level of horsemanship and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a trackwork rider
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle horses safely
