Mine Production Leader

We are seeking a Mine Production Leader to join our team at BHP. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a Dozer Push Production Crew. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe execution of the mine plan in accordance with operating standards, procedures, and defined processes to deliver optimal production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of experienced operators and encourage the development of their skills to support superior production outcomes.
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to identify and improve upon our operating philosophy and processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in our operations.
- Lead by example, promote, and take the lead in supporting and encouraging a diverse team of operators to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment, prioritizing safety above all else.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support the continued development of a high-performing team. A strong commitment to working safely, complying with site safety standards, and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
You will possess:
- Experience working in Coal industry operations, particularly in Dragline & Bulk Dozer Push. S1 S2 S3 & G2 + Dozer/Excavator/Grader competency.
- Experience in Leadership roles with strong people management skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Experience operating Semi-Autonomous tractor system (SATS) dozers by Caterpillar command technology.
We offer an estimated salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide benefits including flexible working options, a generous paid parental leave policy, extended leave entitlements, and parent rooms to support your work-life balance.
