Explore the opportunity to become a key member of Macmahon's team as a Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic. This role is centered around maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment used in mining operations.
About the Role
- This position requires expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.
- FIFO from Perth, with various rosters available including 7:7, 2:1, or 2:2 night/day rotations.
- $73.03 per hour (dependent on experience) + 7% market uplift allowance, paid quarterly.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven experience with CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr, and other heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with on-site repairs, including excavator bucket and truck tray body rebuilds.
- Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to read and work in accordance with drawings, schematics, and work plans.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment.
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
