    About Our Client:

Troocoo is a leading name within the financial services industry, investing heavily in the development of its Data capability. A newly created opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Lead Data Architect to join the team in this greenfield landscape.

    The Role:

As a valued member of the organization, you will play a key role in modernising and driving the Data Architecture. You will partner with senior leaders across a selection of business units, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and engineers.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise data strategy, encompassing data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable data architecture solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of data architecture solutions, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Responsibility for overseeing the design, development, and upkeep of enterprise-level data ingestion processes, data pipelines, and abstraction layers.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies, including data quality, data security, and data lifecycle management.
  • Design and optimise data infrastructure to support the development and scaling of Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning (ML) models.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the data architecture space and make recommendations for their adoption.

    The Successful Candidate:

  • You will have proven experience as a Data Architect.
  • You will have come from a Data Engineering background.
  • You will have experience in driving architectural change that transforms and optimises complex businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with data technologies and cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
  • It will be advantageous to have experience with Appian, Ataccama, and H2O.
  • Possess strong business acumen with an ability to engage, collaborate, and influence people across different business units and stakeholders and at all levels.
