About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and lodging tax returns for various entities
  • Ensuring compliance with BAS, FBT, and payroll requirements
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborating with senior accountants and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting or Commerce (or a related field)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in public practice accounting
  • Sound knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance laws
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
