Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship OpportunityJob Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Light Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice. Located in Artarmon, you will be working within one of the North Shore's most reputable and well-known European Automotive Dealerships.

As a Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you will receive hands-on experience and training under the guidance of qualified automotive professionals. You will become a skilled and in-demand mechanic within the automotive industry by gaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology upon completion.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work closely with our experienced mechanics, assisting them where necessary and learning from their expertise. You will also have the opportunity to work on minor servicing of light vehicles, operating electrical test equipment, and identifying automotive electrical systems and components.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who are physically fit to meet the demands of the role and have a strong team mentality with the ability to take initiative. You should have a passion for the automotive industry and a love for cars, as well as a commitment to becoming a qualified automotive technician.

  • High School (Year 9-11) preferred
  • Driver Licence P or higher preferred

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work an 8-hour shift, day shift, with opportunities for overtime pay and penalty rates. The role is paid at award rate.
