The Merchant Services Production Support team is responsible for monitoring and tracking merchant services production systems. This involves working closely with the business to provide application support, interacting with development and infrastructure teams to track and manage production incidents, and ensuring they are properly documented. The role of a Merchant Services Support Specialist is to deliver high-quality application support for in-house and cloud-deployed applications. This includes analyzing reported issues to engage relevant investigation teams, accessing the impact of production issues via analysis of logs, driving discussions with partner teams to identify resolutions to production issues, clearly documenting and communicating production incidents to stakeholders, identifying platform vulnerabilities, and maintaining metrics to drive improvement in all areas of Production Services. Key responsibilities include delivering application support, analyzing reported issues, accessing the impact of production issues, driving discussions with partner teams, clearly documenting and communicating production incidents, identifying platform vulnerabilities, and maintaining metrics. To be successful in this role, you will need strong project and time management skills, knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network), database concepts, and MS Office. You should also have experience supporting applications in larger production environments and a solid understanding of the SDLC, ITIL processes, change management, release management, and configuration management. A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with experience with analytics platforms, monitoring platforms, and cloud technology.
