Warehouse Team Member

About the Role...

We have an opening for a warehouse team member who is physically fit and able to handle heavy products. The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of materials
  • Driving a forklift (minimal)
  • Building frames which require the use of power tools
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Re-working some materials that includes using grinders and other hand-operated tools
  • Cleaning and maintaining a tidy warehouse at all times

Requirements:

  • Current forklift license and general driving experience
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Excellent numeracy and record-keeping skills
  • Must be physically fit to handle day-to-day workload and heavy products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • EWP License
  • MR Truck licence or above
  • Experience in handling heavy and oversized products
  • Previous experience working with similar providers
  • Any Warehouse certification qualifications
  • Any OH&S training
  • Previous experience with Microsoft office products
