Tradewind Australia is excited to recruit for a new Family Violence Practitioner role based in Alice Springs. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pilot program aimed at expanding family violence support in the area, co-located with the housing and homelessness service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a case load of up to 8 clients, all based in Alice Springs, focusing on women and children impacted by family violence
- Work closely with the housing and homelessness services, providing specialist family violence consultations and advice
- Co-manage with clients, helping them navigate their options and support
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate is local and familiar with Alice Springs, its demographics, and available services
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred, but direct experience in family violence is also considered
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of those impacted by family violence
What We Offer:
- Full-time 12-month contract (with potential for extension)
- SCHADS Level 5 salary: $97,377 - $101,783 + super + salary packaging
- A supportive, collaborative work environment
