Job Description

ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Technician to support our engagement with the Veteran's Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) program.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing prescriptions and packages in an accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner without disrupting services or production. This includes transcription of prescriptions, performing pharmaceutical dispensing, prescription reconstitution, patient consultation, quality improvement, and supply control duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform pharmaceutical dispensing and reconstitution duties
  • Provide patient consultation and education on medication use
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and supply control
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a pharmacy technician technical education program
  • Minimum one year experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service setting
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems
  • Experience with automated dispensing systems
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician
