In this role, you will work closely with our research group to develop and implement machine learning models, support the development of attacks and defenses, and support the development of software tools. You will also be responsible for preparing supporting documentation and reports.

The researcher will work with domain experts on machine learning aspects of current projects at the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, which includes:

  1. Developing and implementing deep learning methods to build robust machine learning models.
  2. Evaluating the robustness of methods.
  3. Developing software tools to support the development of robust machine learning models.

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your data science skills and contribute to cutting-edge research in machine learning and computer security.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Knowledge in software development with a focus on Unix systems, Python programming, and an understanding of deep learning algorithms.
