Industrial Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our Service team in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing field service and breakdown support to a range of customers across various industries. This will involve conducting preventative, corrective, and recommended maintenance as well as documenting all activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical support to customers in the field.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project commissioning and timely completion.
  • Perform electrical installation works in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and time spent on tasks.

Requirements:

  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Must have extensive experience in industrial electrical work.
  • Proven skills in fault finding PLC/SCADA/HMI Systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens, and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA Programming (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk, or WinCC).
  • Electrical installation and commissioning expertise.
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.
  • Instrumentation, Hazardous Area, Working at Heights, and Confined Space training desirable.
  • Australian drivers license and Unrestricted Electrical License.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
