Job Role: Audio Storyteller

We are seeking a skilled Audio Storyteller to join our team. As a key member of the audio storytelling team, you will be responsible for undertaking episode pre-production, production, and post-production.

  • Plan, script, record, manage interviews, edit, sound design & mixing\
  • Source and integrate news/archival audio and underscore music/themes\
  • Publish podcast episodes for distribution on various platforms

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing engaging audio stories that captivate our audience\
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with sources and interviewees\
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth episode production

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong production, post-production, and audio editing skills\
  • Ability to script, voice, and edit innovative audio stories\
  • Experience as a reporter, editor or producer in a newsroom (desirable)\
  • A solid understanding of the issues which engage our audience
