About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Excavation Specialist to join our Drainage crew on residential and commercial sub-divisions in Logan and surrounding areas.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating 20-tonne plus machines, lifting operations, deep excavations, shoring, trenching, pipe placement, back-fill, and compaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to perform excavation and construction tasks
  • Conduct lifting operations, ensuring the safe movement of heavy loads
  • Perform deep excavations, shoring, and trenching as required
  • Place pipes and back-fill and compact the area
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in civil construction, preferably working on subdivisions
  • Ability to operate using GPS
  • Relevant and current tickets and licenses
  • Own transport
  • Ability to work 6:30am-5:00pm, five days a week, with Saturdays as required
