Electrical Fitter Team Leader Role

About the Job:

As a skilled Electrical Fitter, you will take on a key leadership role in overseeing day-to-day operations and providing technical support to your team. With expertise in product assembly, quality checking, and mentorship, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret electrical design drawings to assemble products efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of in-process and finished products to guarantee quality standards are met.
  • Lead a team of 7 electrical fitters/trade assistants, guiding them in their tasks and providing expert advice when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet production targets and customer needs.
  • Perform assembling and testing activities for switchgear and panel boards.
  • Proficiently read and understand electrical schematic wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.

Requirements:

  • Hold an A-Grade qualification or equivalent in Electrotechnology or Electrical Fitting.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Embody a passion for maintaining a safe and high-quality work environment.
