Cyber Security Technical Writer Role

The Cyber Security Technical Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality, actionable guidance and technical advice on cyber security topics. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security principles and practices, as well as excellent writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support technical publications, including research, scoping, technical consultation, review, and publishing.
  • Produce novel and unique advice and assistance on contemporary cyber security issues.
  • Research emerging technology and apply contemporary knowledge to identify information gaps, cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Develop actionable cyber security mitigation strategies.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Provide support to enterprise tasks, including section governance, supporting briefings, facilitating publication clearances, and actioning requests from senior executives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as computer science, computer forensics, information security, information technology, cloud computing, machine learning, or cyber security.
  • At least 5 years' experience in cyber security.
  • Must have Baseline clearance.
