About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Student to join our team as an Undergraduate Buildings Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist in the development of documentation, reports, and engineering calculations.

You will have opportunities to:

  • Collaborate with our buildings team on local projects, contributing to the design and development of building structures.
  • Support construction teams with analysis, design, and asset management tasks.
  • Participate in site inspections and learn from experienced engineers.
  • Develop skills in structural engineering, including drafting and design.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Progressed at least halfway through your Civil Engineering degree, with a strong academic record in structural units.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and experience with AutoCAD or structural modeling tools.
  • A strong desire to learn and solve problems.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work full-time during peak periods, aligning with university dates and our annual shutdown.
