Online Community Specialist

We are looking for an Online Community Specialist to develop and own a comprehensive organic strategy that adds value to online communities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of subreddit culture and engagement strategies, with 5+ years of experience in community management, social media, or related roles. They will be able to build relationships with key Redditors, track and report performance, and use research and social-listening tools to identify relevant conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive organic strategy to add value to online communities, sharing insights on cross-border finance, payments, and global scaling.
  • Engage authentically in relevant threads where the brand naturally fits the conversation, answering questions and sharing knowledge without sounding promotional.
  • Build relationships with key Redditors in relevant subreddits to ensure the brand is viewed as a trusted participant.
  • Track and report performance across engagement, sentiment, brand visibility, and lead generation to refine the strategy and prove impact.
  • Use research and social-listening tools to proactively identify relevant conversations and trends.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of subreddit culture and engagement strategies.
  • 5+ years of experience in community management, social media, or related roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with experience covering projects across APAC.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
