Mobile Maintenance Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Maintainer to support our maintenance team on the New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project. This role will involve supporting live running, preparing trains for revenue at Eveleigh, and performing maintenance tasks on trains in storage in Wollongong, Port Kembla, and Kiama.

About The Role

This is a mobile maintenance position that requires you to work on various types of rolling stock including mechanical and electrical systems. You will need to have excellent fault-finding skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support live running operations
  • Prepare trains for revenue at Eveleigh
  • Perform maintenance tasks on trains in storage
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full Australian work rights
  • Australian recognised trade qualification with Certificate of Proficiency
  • Excellent fault-finding experience
  • Forklift or overhead crane license is desirable but not necessary
