Our organisation is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing needs of our employees are met.

This role requires the ability to work in partnership with business units to coach and educate managers in best practice injury and illness management.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience and/or qualifications in Rehabilitation and Return to Work, as well as highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice on initiatives and changes relating to injury and illness management directives, policies or procedures.

You will also be required to provide expert rehabilitation and return to work coordinator advice and case management services to ill and injured workers.

Liaising with external stakeholders such as WorkCover, QSuper, medical and legal practitioners and occupational service providers is also an essential part of this role.

You will utilise available workforce data and resources to deliver client-focused services and insights.

Reviewing and updating injury and illness management policies, procedures and intranet content is also a key responsibility of this role.

  • Industry experience and/or Qualifications in Rehabilitation and Return to Work
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven customer and relationship management skills, including conflict resolution skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best practice injury and illness management processes and practices, and workers compensation legislation
