We are seeking a passionate educator and industry expert to join our team as an Expert in Quantitative Economics and Business Statistics. Our mission is to educate and empower students with innovative and sustainable practices to tackle global challenges head-on.

About the Role:
  • This key academic position involves leading the redevelopment of courses in economics, econometrics, and business statistics while shaping new programs in Business Analytics and Decision Science.
  • The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in integrating advanced tools such as Python, R, and cloud-based platforms into teaching and research, and connecting quantitative thinking with areas like sustainable business, digital innovation, and smart systems.
About You:
  • You must be an energised and thoughtful academic who brings curiosity to your research, creativity to your teaching, and a genuine commitment to student success.
  • A PhD in quantitative economics, econometrics, or a related field is essential, along with a strong focus on applying advanced analytics to real-world problems.
  • Advanced quantitative methods expertise, including econometrics, causal inference, data science, or machine learning, applied in complex, data-rich contexts, is highly valued.
  • A track record of innovation in teaching large undergraduate subjects using inclusive, digitally enhanced approaches is also desirable.
  • A strong research output in top-tier journals (ABDC A or above), with experience leading data-driven, applied projects, is required.
