Formwork Carpenter

Action Solution is a leading Construction and Manufacturing Company seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team as a Leading Hand.

The Role:

We are looking for a technically sound Formwork Carpenter with strong attention to detail and good time management skills to lead our labour team in executing job packs, ensuring quality standards, working to schedule, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the labour team in executing job packs, ensuring quality standards, working to schedule, and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Execute daily schedules set by Operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all equipment is organized and cleaned for use.
• Conduct weekly toolbox meetings to address issues and promote a culture of safety, mental wellness, and production efficiency within the team.

Requirements:

• Technically minded with strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Able to read and interpret plans and shop drawings.
• Create material take-offs required to complete allocated jobs.
• Ability to lead and direct a labour team of 5-7 guys ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner.
• Trades background in carpentry with formwork experience.
• Concrete finishing/steel fixing experience welcomed.
