
Operations Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our gateway operations, ensuring seamless and efficient processes that meet service standards. As a Gateway Operations Duty Supervisor, you will lead a team of operations agents, managing the gateway process and supporting the Duty Manager in improving process flow, facilities, and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of operations agents to consistently meet service standards and performance with a Safety First mindset
- Manage the gateway process, ensuring all shipments are cleared in the quickest, most efficient manner possible
- Support the Duty Manager in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance process flow, facilities, and equipment
- Plan and manage staffing levels to achieve productivity targets and meet business requirements
- Maintain cooperative relationships between gateway departments, local country offices, and the DHL network
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven people leadership skills to successfully lead teams to achieve goals and stretch targets
- Ability to think strategically, develop, and implement new processes
- Ability to balance short-term and long-term demands, delivering on departmental targets and strategy
- Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
