Forklift Mechanic Opportunity

Aston Advantage is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Mackay. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of machinery, including forklifts, EWP, golf buggies, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair forklifts and other machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair faults in forklifts and other equipment
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Current open license (most vehicles are automatic)
  • Basic understanding of auto electrics
  • Prior experience with Hyundai forklifts, fault-finding, and servicing high-risk equipment is preferred
  • Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are advantageous
