Senior Manager Digital and Consumer Finance Risk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Digital and Consumer Finance team. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Executive Manager and driving risk and compliance thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and produce quality risk and compliance advice on Digital and Consumer Finance change projects and initiatives.
- Ensure a pragmatic and fit for purpose solution is implemented for Digital and Consumer Finance, including ensuring issues are addressed by the project or a clear pathway to green is documented.
- Support the Executive Manager to oversee the change initiatives impacting Digital and Consumer Finance.
- Effectively communicate to Digital and Consumer Finance LT to define the baseline on key change initiatives and drive awareness and change.
- Provide risk in change insights and prepare inputs into key governance papers, including risk committees, steering committees, Digital and Consumer Finance LT meetings and other forums.
- Drive strong relationships across business partners, 1st Line counterparts, 2nd Line partners and Group Audit. Work closely with key senior stakeholders to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices.
- Coach and support the business to build greater risk awareness and capability.

Requirements- Proven experience working in an operational risk, compliance, assurance or legal focussed roles.
- Background in financial services, with preferred exposure to digital or retail banking.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing and negotiating, with sound verbal and written communication.
- Ability to achieve objectives in a changing environment with strong commercial acumen.
- Strong risk and compliance understanding of key legislation and requirements relevant to Digital.
- Good relationship building, teamwork and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically, be innovative and simplify, as well as being proactive, organized and outcomes-focused.
- A strong customer focus.
- Ability to mentor and coach business stakeholders and managers within the BCM team on risk capability.
