Care Support Assistant

Job Summary

This role involves working as a Care Support Assistant in an overnight sleep roster of 43 hours per fortnight over 5 shifts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering domestic support services within customer residences;

  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify customers' life goals and aspirations;

  • E nsuring positive behaviour support plans are implemented effectively;

  • Performing administrative tasks, including expense and mandatory reports;

Key Requirements

  • Experience in supporting customers with complex needs and behavioural support plans;

  • Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration;

  • Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties;

  • Ability to manage complex or difficult situations with patience and maturity;

  • A recognised qualification in disability support, individual support or a related field is essential;

  • A valid driver's licence; and

  • A national police clearance (at employer's cost).
