Sales Consultant Job Description

Brandt is a world-leading equipment dealer, powered by iconic brands and unrivalled support. We have an opportunity for an Agricultural Equipment Sales Consultant to join our Leongatha Sales team.

We are seeking a sales professional who can represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area. The successful candidate will maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Representing the company for the sale of equipment to customers.
  2. Maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment.
  3. Implementing and maintaining regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
  4. Monitoring trends in customer business and competitors' activity/products.
  5. Maintaining all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
  6. Achieving sales objectives set by the company as part of the sales planning process.
  7. Assisting with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  8. Conducting new equipment field demonstrations.
  9. Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  10. Attending applicable sales training events/seminars.
  11. Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports, etc. to Management.
