Senior Food Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Food Technologist to provide technical support and leadership to our Cereals Production Team at our Berkeley Vale Manufacturing Site.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in food technology and quality systems, with experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate quality systems and related documentation.
  • Ensuring site compliance with internal and external food processing standards.
  • Leading and mentoring the Cereals Technical Officer and collaborating with the wider technical team.
  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise in trialing new processes, packaging, and recipes.
  • Monitoring customer complaint trends and initiating action as required.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology or a related science area at a minimum of a bachelor's level.
  • HACCP Qualification.
  • Approximately 5 years' experience in FMCG.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with others.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Strong influencing skills but also ability to compromise, be flexible, and solution-driven in your approach.
