Procurement Improvement Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Improvement Lead to join our team at GFG Alliance. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and governance across our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable procurement improvement processes
  • Drive a culture of performance and continuous improvement within the team
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their capabilities
  • Design and produce performance reporting
  • Develop procurement and supply chain analytics capability and reporting
  • Establish new supply relationships to enhance our supply chain capabilities
  • Procure and implement supply chain technology and innovations to improve team effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Commerce, Business, or CIPS degree or similar
  • Experience within a large procurement team, preferably within manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry
  • Experience in applying sound financial and data analysis principles
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment, prioritize competing demands, and focus on delivering outcomes
  • A flexible team-work approach to tasks and responsibilities
  • SAP experience
