About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Indoor Plants Specialist to join our team at Rentokil Initial. As an Indoor Plants Specialist, you will be responsible for caring for and maintaining plants on client premises, creating inspiring interior nature environments that stimulate the senses for the benefit of both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Care and Maintenance: Complete daily service runs, meeting contractual obligations, establish quality standards at all times, and maintaining professionalism in manner and work.
  • Plant Health and Hygiene: Care and maintenance of plants by following the GROW principles (groom, rotate, observe, and water), which includes weeding, trimming, fertilizing, pest treatment, and watering, and replacements.
  • Pruning and Shaping: Prune, shape, and stake plants for optimal growth and quality.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain customer relationships, personally delivering customer service standards in line with our Values and Mission statement.
  • Complaint Resolution: Resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally, with a follow-up if required.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team/branch meetings.
  • Warehouse and Branch Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse and branch igloos are always kept in a tidy and safe condition.
Requirements
  • Full Australian Driver's Licence: Possess a full Australian driver's licence (manual).
  • Independence and Communication: Ability to work independently to achieve set targets and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing.
  • Relationship Building: Manage, maintain, and build upon client relationships.
  • Passion for Plants: A passion for plants and gardening.
  • Certificate Qualifications: Certificate qualifications in Horticulture would be desirable (not necessary as training is provided).
