Job Title: Landscape Maintenance SpecialistKey Responsibilities:
  • Hedging & Pruning: Trim and shape hedges and trees to maintain neat and tidy landscapes.
  • Hand Mowing: Maintain grass areas using hand mowers to ensure even and consistent lawn coverage.
  • Straight Edging: Use a line trimmer to create neat, straight edges along paths, garden beds, and lawns.
Requirements:
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in gardening maintenance.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot potential issues with plants and landscapes and address them promptly.
  • Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Safety Conscious: Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper safety practices when handling tools, machinery, and chemicals.
  • Passion for Nature: A genuine interest in gardening and outdoor spaces.
  • Skills: Proficient in hedging, pruning, hand mowing, and straight edging with a line trimmer.
  • Work Availability: Ability to work full-time (30 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license and proficiency in driving a manual work vehicle.
Benefits:
  • A company-provided work vehicle and necessary gardening equipment will be supplied.
  • Casual employment opportunity available.
  • $26.00 - $30.13 per hour, depending on experience and age.
