Accounting Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee our financial operations.

  • Financial Management: Manage the end-to-end accounting process, from day-to-day bookkeeping to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, GST/BAS and statutory compliance.
  • Systems Optimization: Identify, implement, and optimize fit-for-purpose finance systems and processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and interpret management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and business analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Tax Advisory: Navigate tax challenges including grants, incentives, and revenue models.
  • Risk & Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls. Liaise with auditors and ensure continuous improvement.

CA/CPA qualified, minimum 5-7 years accounting experience. Comfortable with high-level reporting and hands-on operations. Strong technical skills in modern accounting systems. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations a plus.

Strong communication skills. Ability to partner directly with leadership and stakeholders. Attention to detail and ethical integrity required.
