Job Title

A seasoned Java Fullstack Tech Lead is sought after to spearhead our Federal Government Client project. This exciting opportunity involves leading a cross-functional team, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Scala, web containers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss), and web servers (e.g., Apache, IIS). Proficiency in building integrations with external systems, including APIs, FTP, JSON, EDI, and XML, is also essential.

Additional key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Delivering high-quality pipeline and API code aligned to approved designs and industry best practices
  • Coordinating technical releases within the team for weekly releases and all clients for cutover releases
  • Proactively managing potential API outages to internal and external clients

The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen with Active Baseline Clearance or NV1 Security Clearance or higher.

This is a contract position with 12 months initially, with extensions possible.
