As a Trainee Drilling Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in well engineering. You will work closely with experienced engineers to gain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of drilling and completion operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to drilling supervisors and other team members as required.
  • Well Design: Assist in the design and planning of wells, including casing, directional, fluids, cementing, bits, and hydraulics.
  • Program Preparation: Assist in the preparation of well construction programs and data for statutory submissions.
  • Contractor Liaison: Liaise with key contractors for input to well designs and programs.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for drilling operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university is essential.
  • You should be self-motivated, energetic, and engaging, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
