Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance Specialist to lead our compliance efforts in Australia & New Zealand.

This high-profile role requires deep expertise in security, compliance, and assurance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regional and domestic regulations, including those related to security, critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology, outsourcing, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as an expert on regional and domestic regulations, providing guidance to customers, auditors, and regulators.
  • Anticipating new or potential laws and regulations, developing mitigation and implementation approaches, and escalating and managing escalations as necessary.
  • Developing and executing long-term security and compliance projects and initiatives for regulated customers.
  • Innovating to improve the customer experience of security assurance, performing compliance impact and market assessments, and developing thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies.
  • Tracking and reporting on changes to security controls and requirements standards across the region, managing tight deadlines, and driving results while maintaining attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, banking supervision, or government agencies involved in cybersecurity management and/or operations.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with advanced qualifications such as a master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or IT Security Management.

Familiarity with cloud computing, technology risks, security, and outsourcing is also essential.
