The role of a Senior Project Management Specialist involves overseeing projects across the organization, providing expert guidance and advice to management teams and their team members. This position requires identifying business needs, staffing projects, and monitoring the work/life balance of project team members.
">Key Responsibilities:- Oversight responsibility for projects across the organization.
- Assist Engagement Managers and team members in identifying project needs, reducing risk, and developing solutions and strategies.
- Support the RFP response and pursuit process for project work.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse team of project specialists supporting various applications.
- Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
- Mentor and coach direct reports.
- Analyze team skills and provide cross-training to maintain teams' ability to staff projects appropriately.
- Establish direct reports' goals and objectives during regular review processes.
- Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of project for your entire team.
- Possess 3-5 years of project implementation experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading a virtual team.
- Required characteristics: fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast-paced work environments.
- Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
