About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with a strong .NET background to take on a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end software projects. This contract position is ideal for a seasoned professional who has previously led projects as a Tech Lead or in a similar capacity, and who is adept at steering technical initiatives to completion.

This role requires technical skills but won't be a hands-on coding role. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects remain on track, aligned with business goals, and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Tech Leads to ensure projects remain on track, aligned with business goals, and are delivered on time.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Take ownership of the technical delivery process, from planning to execution, managing risks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance to technical teams, leveraging your .NET expertise to troubleshoot, coach, and drive solutions that meet project specifications and standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between development teams and business stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and understanding of technical requirements and project milestones.
  • Technical Skills: Although it won't be hands-on coding you will be required to create pipelines, review the code, solution design work and some TDD.

Requirements:

  • .NET Expertise: Proven experience and background in .NET technologies, with an ability to understand and manage .NET-focused projects.
  • Technical Leadership: Previous experience as a Tech Lead or in a similar technical leadership role, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects from start to finish.
  • Project Management Skills: Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with diverse teams, aligning efforts across technical and project management functions.
