Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

About this role:

  • This senior technical and leadership position is a chance to contribute to the success of our engineering consultancy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing electrical engineering solutions for clients, including bid preparation and review.
  • Managing project requirements and overseeing execution.
  • Participating in meetings, preparing progress reports, and monitoring projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Providing direction during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Leading teams of engineers on specific projects, defining project requirements, assigning tasks, and supervising progress.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in electrical engineering.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
  • Identifying issues and coordinating solutions.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering for mining, minerals processing, and materials handling sectors.
  • Consulting experience in client-facing roles.
  • Advanced communication skills to propose complex problem solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, local and international standards, and statutory specifications.

Formal requirements:

  • A recognized electrical engineering degree.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent.
  • Professional registration or working towards Chartered credential.
  • Australian residency or valid visa with work entitlement.
