">Job Summary:
">The Participation Program Coordinator for Regional Growth will play a crucial role in delivering participation programs across the North West Coast of Tasmania. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Assist with the implementation of participation programs, including Auskick, Superkick, NINES, and school programs.">
- Liaise with local clubs, Physical Education Teachers, and school leads to ensure maximum participation impact.">
- Establish campaigns to connect participants with their local junior clubs.">
- Implement regional action plans to deliver targeted programs.">
- Administer AFL program databases, contact records, and reporting as required.">
- Coordinate resource and equipment orders and stock for programs.">
- Conduct football promotions and assist with office operations and administration support.">
Requirements:
">- Experience working with children and young people.">
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised.">
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.">
- Qualifications in Sports Coaching/Management, Recreation, Education, Business or equivalent depth of experience.">
- A love for the game of Australian Football.">
- Tasmanian Driver's License.">
- Understanding Microsoft Office suite of products.">
About the Role:
">This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting grassroots Australian Football in the North West Coast region. The successful candidate will be based in the field, visiting schools and local Auskick centers to deliver programs and promote the game.
