We are seeking an experienced and motivated Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Humanity Health Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals who face great challenges through unemployment.
As a key member of our allied health team, you will provide quality therapy and intervention to help individuals get 'job ready'. This will involve supporting clients with personal growth and development, providing support and mentoring to customers that encourage a level of competence and independence with their employment and training goals, and conducting mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff.
You will also be responsible for managing your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload, liaising with local health professionals and services as required, building and maintaining strong relationships with your key referrers/customers, identifying and engaging with potential new entrants to SLES, and completing risk assessments and discussing suitability of new participants and service offerings with relevant stakeholders.
About YouTo thrive in this role, you should have a passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients e.g., individuals with disabilities or individuals who are unemployed. You will need to have an approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social work degree, full registration with an approved body, determination and motivation for professional growth, high levels of verbal and written communication, customer centricity with a desire to drive strong client relationships, and a valid Australian Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle.
