Job Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in a challenging role that will see you working closely with Autonomous Haulage Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all AH-related assets, both in the workshop and within pit operations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance activities on AHTs and EMVs, including preparation, execution, and post-execution tasks.

  • Troubleshoot onboard AH system faults to ensure prompt resolution.

  • Work with OEMs to complete routine calibrations of AHTs after base machine components are replaced.

  • Complete detailed maintenance history to enable reliability improvements.

  • Evaluate multiple solutions to complex problems and implement planned and structured approaches.

Requirements:

  • A comprehensive understanding of safety processes and systems on a mine site.

  • Trade or engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or communication fields.

  • Experience working with fleet management systems (e.g., Komatsu FrontRunner and/or CAT Command) or other mining technology products.

  • A thorough understanding of mechanical and/or electrical mining equipment.

  • Demonstrable experience in problem-solving and adaptability.
