Exciting Civil Construction Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Civil Construction Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start their career in the construction industry.

Job Description:

This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working on various infrastructure projects, including pipeline construction, concrete formwork, and general labouring activities. You will work closely with experienced tradespeople and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and construction of infrastructure projects
  • Participate in the installation and repair of pipelines
  • Contribute to the construction of concrete formwork and placement of concrete
  • Perform general labouring tasks across roads, drainage, and other Council assets
  • Operate small plant and handheld power tools safely and effectively
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Reliability and punctuality
