About Us:

Kotzur Silos is a leading engineering and fabrication business with over 140 employees based in Walla Walla NSW and 60 employees in Toowoomba Qld.

With clients across Australia and overseas, we specialize in providing storage and handling facilities for bulk solids.

We are seeking experienced First Class Welders to join our team at our Toowoomba manufacturing plant.

Job Description:

• Studying blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Selecting and preparing metal stock.
• Cutting marked-out metal sections using hand tools and machines.
• Shaping and bending metal sections using hand and machine tools.
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques.
• Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.

Requirements:

• AQF Qualification in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or comparable formal training.
• 3 years full-time employment or equivalent part-time experience in the occupation.

Benefits:

Minimum annual salary of $76,000.

Suitable applicants will undergo a full pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol screen.
