Medical Emergency Response Specialist

A Medical Emergency Response Specialist is responsible for providing medical and emergency services within their clinical scope. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering medical responses to emergencies and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Maintaining certifications and competencies in ERT and clinical practices.
- Supporting Coal Board Medicals: tracking, follow-up, and management of access.
- Managing injuries: assessing presentations, coordinating care, and developing return-to-work plans.
- Monitoring medication declarations and TMP letters.
- Assisting with patient care and precautionary duties.
- Supporting hygiene testing (hearing, respiratory).
- Participating in field leadership, safety meetings, and team discussions.
- Maintaining medical equipment and consumables, ensuring compliance.
- Supporting site health programs (flu vaccination, skin checks, physiotherapy, hydration testing).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in emergency response.
- Ability to maintain certifications and competencies in ERT and clinical practices.
